Dormouse Sword

A Sword for the Dormouse (voiced by Barbara Windsor) from Tim Burton's 2010 adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic story, Alice In Wonderland. Following more closer the story of Alice through the Looking Glass, in this version, nineteen-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's (Helena Bonham Carter) reign of terror. Prototypes like this were made to assist the animators with reference while worked on the film as most was CG. This sword is made from pewter, with a Gothic style hilt embedded with plastic gemstones.
