The Terrigen Crystals are a type of crystal that grows from an activated Diviner. These crystals produce the Terrigen Mist; the transformational vapor through which Inhumans come into their gift. While having a tragic effect on ordinary humans turning them into statues which then crumbled into nothingness. This was the sad fate of Antoine "Trip" Triplett, who was present during the "rebirth" of Skye and Raina, though this may be because he was hit with shrapnel from the obelisk. However, it is known that Terrigen mists originating from Terrigen crystals that contain traces of the Diviner metal have this same effect. This is a screen used Terrigen Crystal used in a few episodes of season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of Shield.
