The Penguin's (Danny Devito) Umbrella

This is the Penguin's (Danny DeVito) umbrella from the 1992 Caped Crusader film Batman Returns. When Penguin has Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) captured, he shows off the secrets of his umbrella collection, presenting one that contains a gun and one that hides a knife. This is the umbrella he pulls out that supposedly holds the knife; however, when they cut away, it's replaced by the actual modified, knife-holding umbrella. This black umbrella has a poly cotton canopy. It has a wooden tube and crook handle with metal stretchers, ribs, and ferrule. The tube has been painted black up to the top spring. the crook handle is hand-crafted wood that has been painted a darker brown. An iconic piece from one of Batman's most dreaded villians!
